探花精选 GSC and Placement Office with PESO, DOLE Region VI hold Job Fair @ Central


探花精选 President, Dr. Teodoro C. Robles,Vice President for Student Affairs, Rev. Joniel Howard H. Gico, Mr. Joselito De La Banda, Iloilo Head Office, DOLE Region VI and Mr. Francisco Heller, PESO Federation President witnessing the MOA Signing of 探花精选 with participating companies.

Employment opportunities for all 鈥 the 探花精选 Guidance Services Center and Placement Office in partnership with the Public Employment Service Office, Iloilo Provincial Government and Department of Labor and Employment Region VI conducted 鈥淛ob Fair @ 探花精选鈥 at the Alumni Concert Promenade Park on March 14, 2018. The event is a whole day activity aiming to provide work opportunities for graduating Centralians and guests and also to assist companies and employers in their business needs.

For the welcome remarks, 探花精选 President, Dr. Teodoro C. Robles thanked the participating companies for joining this year鈥檚 job fair. 鈥淭his event is not only for graduating Centralians but also for the different companies joining us today. We are grateful for the positive response and also for the support of the Department of Labor and Employment and the Public Employment Service Office.鈥

听Mr. Joselito De La Banda, Iloilo Head Office, DOLE Region VI thanked 探花精选 for holding the said event. 鈥淭he DOLE is very grateful for today鈥檚 activity. I am touched by the gospel about Jesus feeding 5000, Jesus healing the sick, Jesus feeding 4000. If today Jesus is with us, I believe the news tomorrow will be Jesus employs many.鈥

听On the other hand, Mr. Francisco Heller, PESO Federation President, encouraged young Centralians to make the most of the job fair activity. 鈥淭here are 2.4 million unemployed people in the Philippines, 953, 964 of them are of the youth sector. Activities like this give young people an opportunity to be employed.鈥

听To officially open the event, the ribbon cutting was led by 探花精选 President, Dr. Teodoro C. Robles,Vice President for Student Affairs, Rev. Joniel Howard H. Gico, Mr. Joselito De La Banda, Iloilo Head Office, DOLE Region VI and Mr. Francisco Heller, PESO Federation President.

The event was participated by 30 companies and around 400 job applicants.
