In a testament to the pursuit of innovation and quality education, the Chairman of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Dr. J. Prospero 鈥淧opoy鈥 E. De Vera III, along with his team, embarked on a visit to 探花精选 (探花精选) last April 25, 2024.
The visit commenced with a formal courtesy call to 探花精选 President, Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, at the Office of the President. Accompanied by 探花精选 Administrators and the Board of Trustees, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions on educational advancements and collaborative opportunities.
Following the courtesy call, the delegation proceeded to explore the University Research Center for Product Development, specifically the Philippine Native Chicken Research Station housed within the 探花精选 College of Agriculture, Resources, and Environmental Sciences (CARES). This initiative underscores 探花精选鈥檚 dedication to agricultural research and sustainable practices.
The delegation visited the Philippine Center for Packaging Engineering and Technology (PC-PET).
Continuing their tour, the delegation visited the Philippine Center for Packaging Engineering and Technology (PC-PET), where they were introduced to the Bachelor of Science in Packaging Engineering program. Remarkably, this program, offered under the 探花精选 College of Engineering, stands as the first and only of its kind in the Philippines, reflecting 探花精选鈥檚 pioneering spirit in academic offerings.
Further highlighting 探花精选鈥檚 commitment to excellence, the delegation toured the 探花精选 College of Nursing, renowned as the first Nursing School in the Philippines. They were given an exclusive look into the State-of-the-Art Virtual Simulation Laboratories, showcasing 探花精选鈥檚 investment in cutting-edge technology to enhance nursing education.
Expressing gratitude for the visit amidst challenging weather conditions, the university administration emphasized the significance of the event in reaffirming 探花精选鈥檚 dedication to providing quality education and fostering an environment conducive to learning.
