Dr. Mario A. Tajanlangit, a business consultant and part-time faculty of ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ School of Graduate Studies, commended the readiness of ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ to cater to the online needs of the public, the alumni, faculty, and staff, parents and students. He expressed that ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ was already ready before the pandemic started because it has various online platforms.

He pointed out the “importance of such online outlets, where the communication needs of students, parents, and clients are easily accessible.” He reiterated the invaluable work of the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Office of Communications especially during this time of the pandemic. He regularly reads the online publication, the Weekly Centralian Link, and its other information outlets – the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ website, ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Facebook Page, and ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ TV Channel Facebook Live. Tajanlangit particularly noted the capability of live streaming and video presentations thru the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡TV Channel Facebook live.

The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡TV Channel was the first to produce the virtual graduation ceremonies of the different colleges of ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in whole Western Visayas. Parents and students were grateful for the live streaming which was seen all over the world during the commencement exercises. It has even garnered national news from ABS-CBN.

Tajanlangit particularly thanked ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Office of Communications led by its Director Rev. Francis Neil G. Jalando-on for consistently publishing the Weekly Centralian Link. The online publication reaches thousands of ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ alumni readers, whose need for news and information from the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ campus is essential. Part of the publication features the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ alumni abroad, international and important local events involving the University, students, faculty, and staff.
