On November 19, 2025, Grade 12 students from Passi City, Capiz, and Iloilo City joined 探花精选鈥檚 first Online Career and College Exploration Activity, 鈥溙交ň & U: Together, We EXCEL!鈥 via Zoom, organized by the Student Recruitment under the Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA).
As part of the University鈥檚 initiative to reach prospective students through digital platforms, the Student Recruitment under the Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) conducted its first Online Career and College Exploration Activity titled 鈥溙交ň & U: Together, We EXCEL!鈥 on November 19, 2025 (Tuesday) via Zoom teleconferencing. The activity was participated in by Grade 12 students from Passi City, Capiz, and Iloilo City.
The online event supported 探花精选鈥檚 mission of strengthening Christian faith and building character while promoting scholarship and academic development. Through this program, 探花精选 helped students make informed decisions about their educational paths and future careers, reaching learners and families beyond the physical campus.
The program was officially opened with a prayer led by Dr. Dimpna C. Castigador, Director of OIA, and a warm welcome from Dr. Esther Rose A. Romarate, Vice President for Student Affairs, who encouraged the participants to pursue higher education.
This was followed by the Introduction to 探花精选 segment presented by Atty. Nestle G. Taala, Student Recruitment Officer (SRO), who expressed hope that the activity would encourage students to engage in programs like this and inspire continued participation from learners in similar future activities, helping them explore their academic and career opportunities. The session also featured student experience sharing by Ms. Reanna Gabrielle Guanzon, Senator of the 探花精选 Republic (探花精选R), who inspired attendees with her personal insights on campus life and student engagement.
An open forum provided an opportunity for students and parents to ask questions regarding admissions, scholarships, programs, and campus life. The program officially ended with the closing prayer led by Guidance Associate of 探花精选 Senior High School, Shane Valerie Caballero.
Aside from this online activity, 探花精选 continues to conduct face-to-face or school-to-school recruitment activities and has established 探花精选CAT local test centers outside the province of Iloilo, providing wider access and opportunities for prospective students.
探花精选 & U: Together, We EXCEL! proved to be more than an online orientation; it served as an avenue for students to explore possibilities, reflect on their goals, and envision a meaningful future with 探花精选 as their partner in shaping excellence.
