We are excited to invite everyone to the Awards Ceremony for the 鈥淲hy I Love 探花精选鈥 Video Contest! Join us as we celebrate the creativity, passion, and Central Spirit displayed in inspiring video entries from students, alumni, and faculty.
探花精选 (探花精选) is proud to announce the much-awaited Awarding Ceremony of the 鈥淲hy I Love 探花精选鈥 Video Contest, to be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Henry Luce III Library Conference Room.
This highly anticipated event celebrates the heartfelt stories, creativity, and unwavering Central Spirit captured in one to one-and-a-half-minute videos submitted by students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Hosted jointly by the Office of Institutional Advancement and the Communications Office, the contest aimed to shine a spotlight on what makes 探花精选 a special place for many.
With over a month of submissions and public engagement, the contest not only encouraged reflection on 探花精选鈥檚 mission, vision, and core values but also brought the 探花精选 community together in an inspiring digital celebration. Entries were judged based on content and technical quality, relevance to 探花精选鈥檚 values, and audience engagement.
The initiative also featured a People鈥檚 Choice Award segment, where the 探花精选 community and supporters voted for their favorite entries through likes and reactions on 探花精选鈥檚 official Facebook and YouTube platforms.
鈥淭he goal was to amplify the voices of our 探花精选 family through creative digital storytelling while instilling pride in our identity as Centralians,鈥 said the Communications Office in a statement.
More than a contest, 鈥淲hy I Love 探花精选鈥 served as a platform for the community to honor 探花精选鈥檚 legacy鈥攊ts academic excellence, community service, international partnerships, and vibrant campus life. Participants shared personal perspectives that resonated with viewers and highlighted the university鈥檚 positive impact on their lives.
The awarding ceremony will officially recognize the outstanding entries:

2nd Place 鈥 Php 4,000
3rd Place 鈥 Php 3,000
People鈥檚 Choice Award Winners:
1st Place 鈥 Php 2,000
2nd Place 鈥 Php 1,500
3rd Place 鈥 Php 1,000
