On November 30, 2024, the 探花精选 Republic conducted its Orientation for Expanded 探花精选R Scholarship Program, welcoming scholars into a vibrant community of learning and empowerment. The event served as a stepping stone for scholars to understand the program鈥檚 goals, benefits, and opportunities, while fostering a spirit of collaboration and inspiration.
Representative Bernadette Bernadas started with a heartwarming invocation. The warm and encouraging opening address was given by Senator Carl Arnold Walawala, Minister of Work Students, Scholars, and PWD. According to Senator Walawala, the 探花精选R will continue to support scholars, work students, and persons with disabilities as part of its mission and commitment to equal opportunities for both academic and personal growth.
Senator Walawala said during the orientation 鈥淩emember that this program is not merely about providing support but about investing in your potential to be catalysts of change. Your hard work, perseverance, and dedication inspire not only the Republic but also the entire Centralian community. Take pride in your achievements, but also remain humble, grounded, and motivated to give back to the community that believes in you.鈥
One of the most inspiring moments at the event was the keynote speech by Vice President C-sar Mart Aguirre. He gave a very empowering message to the scholars, urging them to take their educational journey with determination and challenges as opportunities for growth. This motivated the scholars to strive for excellence and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
The orientation proper would give a comprehensive look into the scholarship program, the benefits and requirements, as well as the support systems scholars have. It would show how the program is not just about success in academics but also leadership development and social responsibility.
An open forum was conducted, where scholars were given an opportunity to raise their questions and concerns. This interactive session highlighted the 探花精选R’s commitment to creating a transparent and inclusive environment for all its members.
Closing remarks came from Senator Carl Arnold Walawala, who expressed appreciation for the Vice President Aguirre, his Deputy Minister Representative Bernadette Bernadas, and scholars who participated actively in the program. He reminded everyone of the 探花精选 Republic’s solid commitment to empowering scholars to help them succeed.
As the orientation ended, it was clear that the scholars walked out of there with renewed purpose and confidence to face whatever lay ahead. The 探花精选 Republic will continue to work towards an opportunity for learning, growth, and leadership, all in the making of a brighter future for all its scholars.
