International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ (MAS) is an IB World School authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP).
Tailored for learners aged 16 to 19, the Diploma Programme emphasizes both depth and breadth of learning through subject groups and core requirements that foster intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and personal growth. Students engage in meaningful academic and co-curricular experiences that encourage them to become self-directed learners, capable of applying knowledge and skills in real-world contexts.
This approach develops attributes of the IB Learner Profile, guiding students to become knowledgeable, principled, open-minded, caring, and reflective individuals. The DP’s focus on inquiry, intercultural understanding, and global engagement empowers students to make ethical decisions, embrace diverse perspectives, and contribute positively to their communities.
At MAS, we view education as a transformative journey. Our programme encourages students to explore their passions, engage in community service, and participate in leadership, arts, sports, and cultural experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom. Through these opportunities, learners grow into responsible and balanced individuals ready to thrive in a global society.
Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our adoption of both the American Program and International Baccalaureate Programmes, which together provide a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ is proud to be part of the global community of IB World Schools, united by a philosophy of delivering high-quality, challenging international education that prepares students for success in a complex and interconnected world.

The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP)
The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ (MAS) is a multilingual authorized school for the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IB MYP), offering the program for Years 1- 4 (Grades 6-9).
MAS offers a comprehensive educational experience that blends an American-based curriculum aligned with Common Core State Standards, Next Generation Science Standards with International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes, and the Jordanian Ministry of Education National Program.
Designed for learners aged 11 to 15, the MYP organizes education through eight subject groups, emphasizing interdisciplinary study to foster connections between academic disciplines. In the MYP, teaching and learning are underpinned by several fundamental concepts. Firstly, learning is most effective when contextualized and connected to learners’ lives and understanding of the world. By incorporating global contexts, learners develop an awareness of their shared humanity and responsibility for the planet. Secondly, conceptual understanding helps learners to inquire into issues and ideas of personal, local and global significance and examine knowledge holistically.
Additionally, approaches to learning (ATL) are integrated throughout subjects to foster independent learning, encouraging learners to apply their skills and knowledge in unfamiliar situations. These include social, thinking, research, communication, and self-management skills. Lastly, service as action is encouraged, promoting community service and positively impacting the lives of others and the environment, reflecting the IB community’s values. Ultimately, the MYP seeks to cultivate active and globally conscious learners capable of empathy and leading purposeful lives.
At MAS, our learning community plays a vital role in supporting and collaborating with us to achieve our progressive learning goals. MAS goes the extra mile to support our learners’ educational journey by providing enriching opportunities outside the traditional classroom setting. We actively promote learning through educational field trips and captivating guest speakers. Furthermore, we prioritize learner engagement in a wide range of non-academic activities, including sports, drama, arts, and chess, recognizing their holistic impact on our learners. Moreover, we emphasize the importance of community service programs, encouraging learners to demonstrate initiative and leadership in serving and giving back to their communities.

The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP)
The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ (MAS) is a multilingual authorized school for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP).
MAS offers a comprehensive educational experience that blends an American-based curriculum aligned with Common Core State Standards and Next Generation Science Standards with International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes, in addition to the Jordanian Ministry of Education National Program.
Tailored for learners aged 3 to 11, our comprehensive framework centers on six transdisciplinary themes of global significance. Emphasizing holistic learning, our programme blends subject-specific knowledge with broader themes to cultivate lifelong learners who actively engage in enriching experiences. By fostering connections across disciplines and promoting real-life applications, learners take ownership of their education through active inquiry, a fundamental aspect of the PYP.
This approach empowers learners to explore concept-based central ideas effectively, developing essential skills and attributes aligned with the IB Learner Profile. The PYP's focus on inquiry-based learning and student-centered education develops inquisitiveness, critical thinking, effective communication, and ethical behavior, cultivating a holistic and international perspective through inquiry, action, and reflection cycles.
MAS is more than just an educational institution; it is an ecosystem dedicated to nurturing learning and growth. We aim to support learners toward becoming self-regulated, disciplinary thinkers, effective communicators, culturally conscious individuals, and community-oriented contributors. We encourage learners to discover their passions and explore transdisciplinary learning through field trips, career weeks, engaging guest speakers, and a variety of academic and non-academic activities. Our approach integrates intra and inter-school sports, regional and international trips, arts, literary and cultural events, and community service projects, transcending traditional boundaries. We believe that encouraging learner initiative in leadership, service, inclusion, reading, writing, arts, and sports is essential to shaping a vibrant school culture that upholds our core values.
At MAS, our unique learning community plays a crucial role in supporting and partnering with us to realize our progressive learning vision. Their active engagement enriches the educational experience and strengthens our school community.
Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our adoption of the American Program and International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes. These frameworks provide a solid foundation for our learners, offering a holistic and well-rounded education that enables them to thrive in a global context.
